What class looks like

Currently at the Teen Center in downtown Chapel Hill, our Painting Possibilities class is offered in this open and flexible space.  While working in a group setting, students also have the opportunity to go at their own pace.  And I take the time to get to know each individual in order to best support their unique goals and learning styles.  I also utilize multimodal communication, visuals, step-by-step instructions and schedules.  I prefer to offer an emergent curriculum guided by student interests.
