About Me

Ren-Wen Huang, MS, OTR/L, MPH
Hello! My name is Ren-Wen and I am passionate about working alongside, supporting and learning from the everyday people in my community. I am especially interested in helping individuals achieve a higher quality of life and build joy each day by getting to do the things they love doing or need to do based on their roles, responsibilities and identity. Whether it's learning to make a piece of pottery, going on a walk, applying for a job or taking care of their needs and wants, I would be grateful for the opportunity to connect with you or your loved one on achieving their goals.
I have 20 years of neurodiversity-affirming work experience supporting children, teens and adults in educational, home, vocational, recreational and community-based settings. I am currently a licensed Occupaitonal Therapist in North Carolina and have been practicing in North Carolina for

The Philosophy
I believe that making is thinking. By making art, we communicate and express ourselves.
Art is, therefore, a means through which individuals can communicate, process, share, problem solve and be together.
Art is important and directed by the individual.
